‘Achieve 2 Receive’  School/Parent Support Advisory  Services provide a service to schools and the wider community. Our project offers help and support to young people who may have lost their incentive in reaching their full potential in Education.

Our philosophy: After many years of research into Barriers to Children’s Learning we have identified that If children can be positively encouraged to achieve their full potential through: mentoring support, interaction between parents/carers, peers, teachers and the wider community, they can reach their goals. Our experience has shown that our students are able to overcome a variety of obstacles within their Social and Home Environment.

Achieve 2 Receive provides a programme of educational/non-educational activities for small groups of pupils who are not making sufficient progress to achieve their full potential as a result of social and emotional barriers and those who have the potential to produce higher grades. We have decided to adopt a more active pupil-centred approach in raising attainment. Without emotional grounding learning will be difficult.

We also focus on students who are entitled to Pupil Premium who come from ethnic backgrounds and those who receive free school meals.
